Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end design, development, and commissioning of highly complex hardware test systems for a leading defense and security technology company specializing in innovative sensor complete systems. The Hardware Test System Developer is responsible for translating system requirements into functional 19-inch rack designs, defining necessary interface adaptations, and selecting appropriate measuring devices and materials. Key daily tasks include performing the initial integration and commissioning of prototype systems, creating comprehensive documentation and test specifications, and managing obsolescence through system redesigns. Furthermore, the role provides crucial support to production teams by conducting error analyses and troubleshooting system malfunctions. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in test system development and strong knowledge of measurement technology. Success in this position requires fluent German and good English skills, alongside a structured and solution-oriented working style.
