Job Summary

As a Repair Engineer, you will join the Service Engineering Repair team, focusing on the refurbishment of large gas turbine components like blades, vanes, and ring segments. Your daily tasks will involve developing, qualifying, and continuously improving cost-effective repair processes for internal and external shops worldwide. You'll provide engineering support to factories, drive innovation in repair technologies, and collaborate with New Product Design teams on Design for Repair (DfR) initiatives. This role is crucial for extending component life, enhancing reliability, and reducing refurbishment costs through the implementation of advanced technologies and cross-functional project leadership. You will also be involved in supporting new technology implementation, evaluating non-conformances, and ensuring thorough project documentation.
