Job Summary

This permanent position seeks an experienced IT Network Engineer to join the IT department in Isernhagen or Sittensen, focusing on managing and optimizing complex network infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and deployment of LAN, WiFi, and WAN solutions utilizing Meraki components. A core focus of the role is securing the infrastructure through the setup and management of Firewalls and Site-to-Site VPNs, primarily leveraging Fortinet technology, and operating the ZTNA/SASE solution based on Netskope. The successful candidate will also configure dynamic routing protocols like BGP, contribute to cloud integration projects involving Azure, and utilize Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code to automate network processes. Required qualifications include several years of professional experience in IT networking, expertise in Meraki, Fortinet, and Netskope, and fluency in German alongside intermediate English skills.
