Job Summary

This EHS Engineering Expert role, based in Pfaffenhofen, Germany, is crucial for maintaining and advancing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards within the Engineering department of a leading pharmaceutical company focused on oncology and cardiovascular health. The expert will serve as the site's Emission Control Officer, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks involve the autonomous creation, maintenance, and development of risk analyses and hazard assessments, collaborating closely with authorities and internal stakeholders to drive continuous EHS performance improvement. The role also includes leading EHS inspections and audits, preparing comprehensive reports and permit applications, and designing and delivering EHS training programs. Candidates must possess a university degree in engineering or natural sciences, or equivalent EHS experience, coupled with deep knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 45001, 14001) and proven experience implementing immission control measures in a complex production setting.
