Job Summary

This role is based in Heidelberg, Germany, within a globally active contract research organization specializing in innovative drug discovery and development. The successful candidate will join the Bioassay GmbH team as a Chemist, focusing on physical-chemical analysis. Day-to-day tasks involve actively participating in the development and validation of new analytical methods, primarily utilizing HPLC and CE-SDS. Responsibilities also include the routine execution and thorough documentation of analyses for determining activity and purity of pharmaceutical starting materials and finished products (in chemico). A critical component of the job is ensuring all work and documentation adheres strictly to GxP guidelines (GMP, GLP), including creating and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing the qualification and maintenance of analytical equipment. The position requires a scientific degree or relevant laboratory training, coupled with several years of experience in a regulated environment and proficiency with HPLC and CE-SDS methodologies.
