Job Summary
This role is designed for an IT Support Specialist focused on providing critical 1st-Level support for an international railway group. Day-to-day responsibilities include the essential monitoring and reporting of diverse IT systems, including firewalls, servers, virtualization platforms, switches, and operating systems. You will execute initial troubleshooting measures based on established guidelines, meticulously document all activities within the ticket system, and ensure efficient escalation of larger incidents to the 2nd-Level Support team. Successful candidates must hold a completed IT vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, and possess initial experience in user support. Familiarity with Linux, VMware, Fortinet, and CheckMK is required, alongside a strong interest in information security techniques.
