Job Summary

This position calls for an Operational Technology (OT) IT Engineer to support a leading provider of high-performance communication technology for the space industry near Stuttgart. The primary responsibility is ensuring the secure and uninterrupted operation of IT-supported production facilities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inventory of industrial OT systems, meticulously documenting network architectures, communication protocols, and system interfaces, and actively supporting the porting and migration of systems into new or existing networks. A critical function is providing rapid and effective support to resolve production disruptions, requiring seamless collaboration between the shop floor, production teams, and central IT. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses fundamental knowledge of industrial control systems, network technologies, and operating systems (Windows/Linux). Proficiency in tools such as Confluence, Git, scripting languages, and NodeRed is required, along with fluent German skills.
