Job Summary

This role as an IT Field Service Technician involves critical on-site support for national and international IT clients, focusing primarily on maintaining robust network infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance and swift troubleshooting of network components, as well as performing installations and replacements within the LAN and IPT (IP Telephony/Internet Protocol Technology) domains. A key aspect of the job is providing direct support to fellow service technicians within a 150km radius, necessitating frequent travel and effective communication. Successful candidates should possess strong networking knowledge, specifically covering Cisco, LAN, WAN, Switches, and Routers, ideally backed by a completed IT education. Proficiency in documentation using ticketing systems is required.
