Job Summary

This role involves leading and coordinating the installation, assembly, and commissioning of complex electrical systems on new ships. The Construction Manager will serve as the primary technical leader, overseeing work packages in electrical engineering, ensuring compliance with design plans, and managing quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Daily tasks include supervising assembly teams, performing fault diagnosis, implementing corrective measures, executing functional tests, and integrating new systems. A key aspect is stakeholder management, requiring close coordination with the shipyard, suppliers, and the internal project team. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, significant experience managing large industrial or offshore construction sites, and expertise in communications technology, automation, drive systems, and various voltage techniques. Strong leadership skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding, high-technology environment.
