Job Summary
The Communal Supply Association of Saxony (KVS) is seeking an Infrastructure Area Manager to lead the Infrastructure working area, overseeing essential facility and technical services. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for building management, official vehicles, and fire safety for the organization. Daily tasks include leading a small team, drafting performance specifications and contracts, coordinating external service providers (e.g., cleaning, security, maintenance, waste management), and managing construction projects within the association's building. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant technical or administrative university degree (Bachelor/Diploma in General Administration, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or Building Services Engineering) and demonstrate strong leadership, structured work habits, and abstract thinking to develop effective solutions. Experience in public service, technical building knowledge, and fire protection certification are advantageous for success in this critical management position.
Required Skills
Education
Required: University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in General Administration, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or Building Services Engineering/Technical Building Equipment; OR, eligibility for the career path group 2, first entry level in General Administration.
Experience
- Professional experience in public service (advantageous)
- Experience in employee leadership (advantageous)
