Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician involves critical diagnostic work within a leading European veterinary laboratory. The core responsibilities include the logging, preparation, and analysis of various water samples, specifically drinking water, livestock water, and fish water, ensuring compliance with the valid Drinking Water Ordinance. You will conduct comprehensive microbiological examinations related to both human and veterinary hygiene. A significant part of the role requires meticulous maintenance and upkeep of laboratory and analysis equipment, alongside active participation in quality assurance, validation, and documentation processes necessary for accredited laboratory operations. The ideal candidate holds a completed education as a BTA, MTA, or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, possesses a strong interest in hygienic analysis, and demonstrates a self-reliant, structured, and responsible work ethic. - Professional experience in handling sample material and laboratory equipment
