Job Summary

This full-time, fixed-term position as a Dairy Laboratory Technician is situated within the Global Culture Collection (DGCC) of Danisco Deutschland GmbH, part of the IFF corporation, a global leader in the flavors and fragrances industry. The core responsibility involves ensuring the quality and integrity of stored microorganisms, such as starter and protective cultures, used in dairy and fermented food production. Daily tasks include executing and evaluating tests to verify the hygienic status of deposited microorganisms, identifying and characterizing strains using micro- and molecular biological techniques, and preparing materials like starter ampoules and microtiter plates for screening. You will also be responsible for the precise documentation of strain orders and deposit assignments. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Dairy or Biology Laboratory Technician and practical experience in a microbiological laboratory setting, alongside proficiency in MS Office and good command of the English language. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, international environment at the Niebüll site.
