Job Summary

This critical role focuses on the development and implementation of SCADA and IT strategies specifically tailored for offshore wind development projects. The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for Front-End Engineering, designing comprehensive SCADA, network, and telecommunication concepts for offshore wind farms while ensuring strict adherence to required standards, such as the Grid Code. Key responsibilities also include process optimization, conceptualizing, initiating, and documenting quality standards for these complex systems. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Computer Science, ideally with a focus on automation or communication technology, and brings at least five years of specialized experience in commissioning SCADA and network systems within the offshore wind sector. Proficiency in relevant norms like IEC 60870-5-101/104 and IEC 61850, along with excellent German and English skills, are mandatory.
