Job Summary

This role, based within an international railway group, focuses on providing comprehensive IT support and lifecycle management for end-user hardware. The IT Service Technician will be responsible for the entire hardware lifecycle, including the provisioning, rollout, commissioning, and eventual withdrawal of PCs, notebooks, monitors, and mobile devices like tablets and smartphones. A significant part of the job involves executing second-level support for operational workstation hardware malfunctions and managing hardware replacements and moves. You will also support warehouse management and inventory tracking. Key requirements include a relevant technical qualification (such as an IT Specialist or System Electronics Technician) and practical experience installing and configuring various IT and mobile devices. Success in this position demands strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to communicate effectively while collaborating within large teams, all while utilizing fluent German language skills.
