Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Engineering professional ready to transition into a mentorship position as an Instructor, guiding apprentices and adult trainees in Vienna. You will be responsible for designing and delivering contemporary, practice-oriented training in electrical technology, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and professional development goals. Day-to-day tasks involve coaching technical skills, fostering social competencies, and preparing trainees for their final vocational exams (LAP) through close collaboration with vocational schools. Key qualifications include a completed technical apprenticeship (HTL or Master Craftsman qualification is a plus), demonstrated professional experience in the field, and either possessing or being willing to obtain the Apprenticeship Instructor certification. Success in this role requires strong communication, solution-orientation, and the ability to act as a positive role model while setting appropriate boundaries within a diverse and inclusive environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational apprenticeship in an electrical or electronic profession. Apprenticeship Instructor certification (or willingness to acquire). Higher Technical Education Institute Diploma (HTL) or Master Craftsman examination is a plus.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant electrical or electronic technical field.
  • Experience working with young people and adults in a training and coaching capacity.
