Job Summary

This role seeks a Project Manager to join the WESSLING Consulting Engineering team in Hannover, focusing on hazardous building materials and demolition projects. The core responsibilities involve conducting detailed investigations of buildings for pollutants and assessing indoor air quality. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, including preparing technical offers, developing investigation concepts, creating specifications, and drafting expert reports. A crucial part of the job is planning hazardous material remediation and overseeing the subsequent construction management during implementation. Additionally, the role involves evaluating building products for low emissions in the context of DGNB, LEED, or BNB certifications, and actively supporting client acquisition. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant engineering or natural science field (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Geology) or equivalent qualifications. While previous experience is beneficial, motivated entry-level professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. Success requires strong organizational skills, teamwork, and fluent German communication (C2 level).

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Natural Sciences; or comparable professional experience and further qualifications (e.g., in occupational safety, safety and health coordination, or certificates of expertise).
