Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Automotive Electrical System Development Engineer who will be instrumental in designing and optimizing electrical systems for new vehicle architectures. Day-to-day, you will focus on developing concepts and components for high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including their integration, placement, and power supply. You'll be responsible for evaluating concept alternatives, systematically identifying error points in wiring harnesses, and managing requirements in DOORS. The position also involves on-site support for various development stages at customer locations, conducting detailed error analyses, and implementing optimizations for packaging, cost savings, and ergonomics. You will document all changes and present your findings to internal and external committees, making strong communication and presentation skills essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent technician qualification.
