Job Summary

This part-time position (22.5 hours/week) is situated within a well-known research pharmaceutical company in Biberach. The Biological Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and evaluation of time-critical and often complex analyses, focusing heavily on cell culture techniques. Day-to-day activities include actively participating in the development and optimization of experimental procedures, conducting specialized tasks such as troubleshooting, and providing vital support during methods validation and qualification processes. A key component of the role is the functional checking and maintenance of analytical devices and laboratory systems. Successful candidates must hold completed vocational training as a Biological or Chemical Laboratory Technician, or an equivalent Master/Meister qualification, coupled with significant professional experience in a biopharmaceutical GMP laboratory setting. Proficiency in MS Office and good English skills are essential for effective communication and documentation.
