Job Summary

This role seeks an AI Research and Strategy Analyst to drive E.ON’s AI strategy by translating global research and market trends into actionable business insights. The analyst will continuously monitor academic papers, industry reports, and technological breakthroughs, ensuring that only developments with tangible business implications reach senior management. A core responsibility is assessing risks and opportunities, recommending strategic actions (adopt, invest, or adapt strategy), and contributing to thought leadership through internal position papers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Europe, connecting internal expertise with external innovation to ensure AI delivers scalable, trustworthy, and future-ready business value. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background (Master's or PhD) in AI, Computer Science, or Machine Learning, coupled with deep expertise in AI concepts and proven experience synthesizing complex scientific literature into clear, strategic recommendations for both technical and business audiences. This position is crucial for shaping the energy transition through digital innovation.
