Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer specializing in measurement technology, focusing on diagnostic measurements across all voltage levels, from low to high voltage, within the power grid operation sector in Hamburg. The engineer will independently conduct diagnostic measurements on critical assets like cables, transformers, and converters, and evaluate the results. Key responsibilities include performing switchgear tests, analyzing complex issues related to EMC, sound, and grounding, and developing future-proof solutions for the network. The role requires the creation of technical recommendations and test reports, the implementation of standard measurement solutions, and active participation in an on-call rotation (standby duty) for rapid fault clearance, particularly in cable fault location. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, significant experience in cable fault location and various measurement procedures, and familiarity with operating power supply networks from low to high voltage.
