Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated Sustainability Manager to oversee and optimize environmental and energy processes at MAN Truck & Bus SE. Day-to-day responsibilities include rigorous monitoring of all waste and energy-relevant operations, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations such as the German Circular Economy Act (KrWG) and ISO 50001 standards. The manager will be instrumental in implementing concrete measures for waste reduction and energy conservation, preparing detailed annual reports and evaluations, and providing expert consultation to executive management on critical environmental and energy matters. Key qualifications include a university degree in Environmental Science, Energy, or Technology, coupled with practical experience in environmental or energy management systems. Candidates must demonstrate a structured, highly organized, and communicative approach, and be proficient in preparing for and supporting internal and external audits.
