Job Summary

This role seeks a technically proficient IT Support Engineer to manage and administer complex Windows and/or Linux environments as part of 2nd Level Support. Key responsibilities include the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical disruptions across the entire IT infrastructure, including network and server systems. The specialist will actively contribute to the planning, implementation, and optimization of system and network architectures, ensuring stable and efficient operations. A strong focus is placed on using modern tools for monitoring, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and automation (Ansible, Puppet). Candidates must possess current knowledge of operating systems, network protocols (DNS, DHCP), and collaboration solutions like Office365/MS Teams. This position requires excellent German proficiency (C1) and offers an unlimited contract with significant opportunities for professional development and participation in challenging IT projects, such as system rollouts and migrations.
