Job Summary

This role seeks a technically adept IT Support Engineer specializing in 2nd Level operations for robust Windows and/or Linux environments. The core responsibilities include the administration, monitoring, and in-depth troubleshooting of complex IT infrastructure, including servers and networks. You will be instrumental in analyzing technical faults, developing sustainable solutions, and ensuring smooth operations. A key focus is supporting the planning and implementation of system and network architectures, collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd level teams, and documenting IT processes using tools like Confluence and Jira. Candidates must possess current knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and collaboration tools like Office365/MS Teams. This position offers an opportunity to work with modern technologies across virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), security (SIEM, EDR), automation (Ansible, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), requiring a commitment to continuous professional development and fluent German communication skills.
