Job Summary

The role involves comprehensive responsibility for the entire Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle, ensuring license compliance, and developing SAM strategies, policies, and processes. Key daily tasks include managing the license inventory and contract database using Flexera, monitoring software usage to prevent over- or under-licensing, and preparing for internal and external license audits. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, extensive experience in SAM, deep knowledge of major software vendor licensing models, and proficiency with SAM inventory tools. This role is crucial for cost control, budget planning, and providing technical consultation on complex licensing policies within a modern, agile work environment.
