Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Process Engineer to join a specialized technology group focusing on chemical-thermal production, particularly in Silicon Carbide and Chlorosilane chemistry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling up patented processes, moving from pilot plant operations to mass production, and optimizing existing systems. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting the planning and construction of pilot plants, executing trial runs, conducting process and plant-specific optimizations, and handling technical design and development of new facilities. The role requires strong analytical skills, autonomy in managing sub-projects, and supporting international projects from quotation through commissioning. Key requirements include a degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering, multi-year professional experience in the chemical industry or plant construction, and fluent proficiency in both German and English, coupled with mandatory worldwide travel readiness.
