Job Summary

This role involves leading the Investigations and Enforcement team within the Sanctions sector of SECO's Directorate for External Economic Affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex administrative criminal proceedings related to financial sanctions violations, ensuring rigorous quality assurance throughout the process. Key daily activities include conducting complex administrative procedures concerning the freezing of assets and economic resources, performing controls and investigations to ensure compliance with sanctions, and maintaining regular information exchange with Swiss and foreign authorities for mutual legal and administrative assistance. This position requires a Master's degree in Law, preferably a lawyer's license, and several years of experience managing administrative and administrative criminal proceedings, ideally coupled with team leadership experience.
