Job Summary

This role seeks a specialized Vehicle Communication Systems Technician to manage the full lifecycle of electronic systems within vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex communication technologies such as telematics, radio, navigation systems, and control units (Steuergeräte). The professional will be responsible for integrating new electronic components into existing on-board electrical networks, performing detailed fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and conducting function tests. A key component of the role involves meticulous wiring, cable assembly, and ensuring all work is accurately documented according to technical drawings and schematics. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as an Electronics Technician or Automotive Mechatronics Technician with a focus on electronics, coupled with fundamental knowledge of vehicle electronics, particularly CAN-Bus and diagnostic systems. This is a long-term contract position offering an unlimited contract and excellent prospects for permanent employment with the end client, along with holiday and Christmas bonuses.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Automotive Mechatronics Technician (specializing in Electronics), Systems Electronics Technician, or comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the installation and commissioning of electronic components in vehicles
  • Deep knowledge of vehicle electronics and communication systems, including CAN-Bus and diagnostic systems
