Job Summary

This role as a Chemical Management Specialist in Nuremberg involves ensuring corporate safety through rigorous documentation and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include creating and archiving safety data sheets (SDS) and operating instructions, managing global product registration with relevant authorities, and strictly implementing the European REACH chemicals regulation. The specialist will also provide internal and external consultation on hazardous substances, engage in technical safety correspondence with suppliers, and actively contribute to R&D projects. Candidates must possess a background as a Chemist or Chemical Management Specialist, coupled with expertise in handling safety data sheets and poisons. Strong proficiency in both German and English is required, along with good IT skills, ideally including experience with hazardous substance management software.
