Job Summary
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to manage the financial aspects of their German programs, operating either in Berlin or remotely across Germany. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with donor guidelines, particularly those of public funders like the EU. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing monthly internal budget analyses, generating interim and utilization reports, and meticulously verifying project-related expenditures and cost center allocations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or equivalent experience in finance or NGO management, coupled with at least two years of professional experience in project financing or third-party fund administration within a non-profit environment. Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar financial software) are essential. Experience
