Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Researcher position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a DFG-funded project focused on multi-channel transcranial current stimulation (mc-tCS) and its application in modulating eye movement control. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, evaluating, and applying advanced EEG and MEG neuroimaging and mc-tCS simulation approaches, utilizing modern finite element methods and sensitivity analysis. This role involves close collaboration with clinical colleagues to investigate visual motion in healthy subjects. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in relevant scientific disciplines, excellent programming skills, and a keen interest in neuroimaging and brain stimulation, contributing to cutting-edge research at the University of Münster.

Required Skills

Education

PhD degree (or equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar disciplines. Master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Professional experience with neuroimaging (advantageous)
  • Professional experience with targeted and optimized brain stimulation (advantageous)
  • Professional experience with the measurement and analysis of brain signals (advantageous)
