Job Summary

This DevSecOps Security Engineer role in Berlin focuses on ensuring the security and operational stability of new products within a critical communications network provider serving government and emergency services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities through penetration testing and security analysis, creating detailed reports, and continuously developing and optimizing the security architecture. You will work closely with internal teams, including SOC, DevOps, Product Management, and Compliance, while maintaining a high technical standard and contributing to long-term goals. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, coupled with professional expertise in DevSecOps and Security Engineering within an agile environment. Experience with CI/CD tools, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi), and security scanning tools is highly desirable.
