Job Summary

This role seeks a Specialist in Obsolescence Management and Value Chain optimization to ensure the long-term viability and profitability of services, primarily focusing on Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS). The specialist will be responsible for technical project steering and coordination within lifecycle and obsolescence management processes, aiming to proactively prevent supply gaps, develop profitable services, and optimize the entire value chain. Key daily tasks include serving as the primary communication interface between various departments such as Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing sites. Responsibilities also involve developing and updating the comprehensive obsolescence strategy for the AIS portfolio, creating robust business cases, and supporting the Obsolescence Management Committee. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant technical or business field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Business Administration) and possesses professional experience in project leadership, supply chain processes, and specifically, obsolescence management.
