Job Summary

This is an exciting and responsible opportunity for an analytical Systems Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) to join a globally leading technology company in Kiel. The core mission involves evaluating, analyzing, and creating precise technical specifications related to EMF, ensuring optimal electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and maintaining regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing, developing, and implementing measures for EMC optimization, designing complex antenna concepts and lightning protection solutions, and integrating international norms and customer requirements into the development process. The role requires strong project leadership skills, active participation in interdisciplinary design and development reviews for quality assurance, and close coordination with various internal departments and external experts. Candidates must possess professional experience in EMF/EMC within complex system projects, excellent analytical abilities, and a relevant university degree in High-Frequency Technology or a related field, along with fluency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree focusing on High-Frequency Technology (HF Technology), Communications Engineering, or a related discipline specializing in electromagnetic fields and waves.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
  • Experience in complex development and system projects
  • Experience with configuration and application of programs like MS Office and Doors
  • Experience with Simulink (preferred)
  • Experience with MATLAB and CST Studio Suite for simulation and analysis of electromagnetic effects (ideal)
  • Experience in leading complex, interdisciplinary projects
