Job Summary

This role as a 3D CAD Application Support Engineer, based in Erlangen, involves ensuring the seamless operation of the company's critical CAD and PDM system landscape within an engineering and power plant construction environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing expert user support, managing the AVEVA Toolsuite (such as E3D, Engineering, and Diagrams), and handling the entire operational cycle from gathering specific user requirements to implementing them within the respective CAD systems. You will also strategically contribute to CAD/PDM projects and manage software release changes. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant degree or specialized professional training, coupled with at least three years of practical professional experience. Strong IT affinity and expertise in the AVEVA Toolsuite are essential, alongside initial experience with Electrical Design Systems like EPLAN.
