Job Summary

This Product Owner role focuses on optimizing and managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for a leading international technology group in Berlin, specifically concerning device programming, testing, and firmware development. The core mission is to minimize the time and cost associated with introducing new products. Daily responsibilities include creating and prioritizing the product backlog for firmware releases, ensuring timely implementation of NPI projects, and acting as the primary coordinator between development, production, and IT security teams. The role requires continuous analysis of market demands and customer feedback to drive product improvements, alongside effective risk identification and management. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field and bring multi-year experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in NPI, coupled with deep technical understanding of embedded systems, cryptography, and certificate management. Fluency in both German and/or English (C1 level) is mandatory. The position offers a long-term perspective and the potential for permanent takeover by the client.
