Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role seeks a dedicated Chemical-Technical Assistant to join a leading clinical pharmacology research institution near Stuttgart. The core responsibilities involve the meticulous preparation of biological and chemical samples and performing complex analytical investigations using state-of-the-art mass spectrometric methods, including HPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and nanoLC-Orbitrap, across drug analysis, metabolomics, and proteomics fields. The successful candidate will be crucial in expanding the institute's capabilities by assisting in the development and validation of new analytical procedures. Day-to-day tasks also include the software-supported evaluation and interpretation of mass spectra, meticulous documentation of results, and the general organization and routine maintenance of technical laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate holds a CTA qualification or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, possesses strong technical aptitude, and has practical experience with HPLC, GC, and mass spectrometry. This position requires good written and spoken English skills and offers an opportunity for self-directed scientific work within a collaborative, international team environment.
