Job Summary

This senior role seeks an experienced scientist to drive the Early Drug Discovery process for a leading global pharmaceutical corporation. The Principal Scientist will be crucial in supporting Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) and Structure-Property Relationship (SPR) strategies, overseeing compound design, and integrating cross-functional research activities. Key responsibilities include the scientific evaluation of projects within Cardiovascular, Oncology, and Immunology therapeutic areas, conducting intellectual property (IP) reviews, and contributing to strategic project management decisions. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry and brings at least 15 years of experience, specifically guiding compounds from hit identification through to preclinical candidate (PCC) development.
