Job Summary
This role is ideal for an IT specialist, whether a recent graduate or an experienced professional, passionate about providing essential IT support within the education sector. Working from the central office in Geislingen an der Steige, you will be the backbone of IT operations for schools and educational institutions in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Day-to-day tasks involve managing the Service Desk, handling remote support tickets, analyzing and resolving incidents related to clients, servers, school platforms, and network components (Switches, Firewalls, VPNs). You will also be responsible for proactive operations, including monitoring, patch management, user administration, and ensuring high-quality documentation. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in Service Desk or IT support (implied)
- Experience with Microsoft environments (AD/AAD, M365, Windows Client)
- Experience with basic network operations (Lancom, Unifi, OPNsense)
- Structured and independent working style
