Job Summary

This role is for an engaged Data Protection and Data Security Specialist to join the German Pension Insurance Central Germany, a major, family-friendly employer. The successful candidate will independently advise and support various structural units and employees on adhering to stringent legal data protection frameworks, including the GDPR and specific social data protection regulations. Key responsibilities involve developing strategic concepts and targeted recommendations for integrating data protection and security into new processes and IT systems, conducting regular procedural and security compliance checks, and managing the documentation and notification procedures for data breaches (Art. 33, 34 GDPR). Furthermore, the specialist will conduct internal training and prepare for various committee and working group meetings. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related administrative field, coupled with current professional experience in data protection, especially within complex IT environments.
