This role involves actively shaping the digital transformation within a world market leader specializing in industrial manufacturing systems for Electronics, Life Science, and Energy. The Software Developer will focus on the development and maintenance of proprietary image processing and mathematical applications, utilizing the OpenCV framework. Key responsibilities include acting as the central expert and consultant for all image processing topics across various product lines and development sites within the ASYS Group. You will conceptualize, adapt, and implement customized solutions, ensuring high reusability and modularity before validation and integration into serial products. The ideal candidate holds a technical or engineering degree (e.g., Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) and possesses at least two years of professional experience in application development. Strong proficiency in C++ and practical experience with image processing solutions are mandatory for success in this team-oriented environment, contributing to innovative projects like autonomous driving and medical technology.
