Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled IT professional seeking a challenging position with significant social value within the Life Science and In-vitro Diagnostics sector. The R&D Application Specialist will be primarily responsible for the analysis, administration, and continuous development of critical R&D systems, with a core focus on database management (both relational and NoSQL). Day-to-day tasks include coordinating group-wide IT application system rollouts, managing external service providers and subject matter experts, and optimizing IT-supported processes from a technical perspective. You will also be tasked with creating comprehensive system documentation and providing training and consultation to IT users. Key qualifications include a degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable training, foundational knowledge in major database management systems (like Oracle or PostgreSQL), and familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
