Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced DWDM Technician to join projects focused on developing Germany's digital infrastructure within the telecommunications transport network. The core responsibilities involve the installation, commissioning, and integration of cutting-edge DWDM systems at critical core sites and data centers nationwide. Day-to-day tasks include conducting precise optical measurements using tools like Spectrum Analyzers and performing 100G tests (including RFC 2544), analyzing and resolving complex network disruptions, and ensuring the continuous maintenance of active transmission systems. Candidates must possess a completed technical vocational qualification, significant experience in DWDM/CWDM environments (ideally with vendors like ADVA or Ciena), and strong knowledge of optical transport and Layer-1 systems.
