Job Summary
This permanent, full-time role requires a dedicated Materials Testing Technician to manage and operate the tempering furnace systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the reliable operation of the equipment, correctly loading ovens based on cycle specifications, and performing crucial hourly readings and adjustments of temperature, kc, and CO2 values. The technician must also monitor hearth pressure, tempering air, and burners, and strictly adhere to all safety regulations and fire prevention codes, responding immediately to alarms according to the established plan. Key qualifications include strong technical understanding, a high sense of responsibility, and a solution-oriented mindset. Candidates must be willing to work mandatory shifts, including weekends and night shifts.
