Job Summary

This role, based in Karlsruhe for DB InfraGO AG, involves the planning and project management of maintenance and investment measures related to rail control and safety technology (LST). The planner will handle various signal technologies, ranging from traditional mechanical interlocking systems to modern electronic interlocking (ESTW) and level crossing safety systems. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility and preliminary studies, creating complex cross-trade construction operational plans, and ensuring adherence to technical requirements, costs, deadlines, and quality standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications focused on LST and is adept at implementing strict regulatory frameworks (e.g., DB rules, TSI). This position offers the opportunity to shape critical rail infrastructure for future generations on a permanent contract.

Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College degree (Bachelor or Master equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications, specializing in Control and Safety Technology.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in Control and Safety Technology (LST) planning is advantageous
  • Strong technical understanding, especially regarding the execution of construction projects
