Job Summary

This role seeks a Project Engineer to manage the planning, design, and support of electrical systems, specifically focusing on fuel cell technology within safety-critical industries. Day-to-day tasks involve project planning, construction supervision, conducting calculations and analyses for R&D projects in electrical energy systems, and creating comprehensive technical documentation, including CAD models, circuit diagrams, and procurement specifications. The engineer will also be responsible for quality assurance, performing inspections of internal and external work, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards, and supporting procurement and manufacturing processes, particularly in a naval/maritime engineering context. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Electrical Engineering or related fields, structured work methods, and solid English skills for technical exchanges with international partners, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced energy systems.

Required Skills

Education

Degree (Bachelor, Master, or Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) in Electrical Engineering, or certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, or comparable technical college education.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an electrical engineering or process engineering environment (ideally)
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Engineering Base and Teamcenter (ideally)
  • Several years of professional experience combined with specialized further training (alternative to degree)
  • Experience with industry-specific IT training (ideally)
