Job Summary

This role is for an AI-Focused Python Developer within the TECLION AI Competence Center of the Hessian Tax Administration in Kassel. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing and integrating modern AI solutions, bridging the gap between Data Scientists and Software Developers. Day-to-day tasks involve developing robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications, specifically in close collaboration with data scientists for creating AI applications. Responsibilities include implementing these applications as microservices, utilizing containerization technologies like Docker, and implementing interfaces (e.g., Flask, FastAPI). The developer is also responsible for converting AI functionalities into scalable applications, managing job scheduling (e.g., Celery) and load balancing, and ensuring continuous performance optimization and maintenance. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, strong Python skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
