Job Summary

This role seeks a passionate Sales Engineer specializing in Automation Technology to join the motivated Munich-based sales team, focusing on the Southern Bavarian region. The core responsibility involves managing and deepening relationships with major existing clients and business partners, alongside actively acquiring new customers. The engineer will conduct holistic sales of the complete product portfolio, including Industrial PCs, Fieldbus components, PLC/NC automation software, drive technology, and integrated PC control system solutions. A key component of the job is leveraging technical expertise and strong communication skills to understand customer requirements and provide technical support for developing and implementing tailored, innovative projects. The ideal candidate possesses a successfully completed degree in a relevant engineering field, fundamental technical knowledge of PLC/NC and PC automation, and proven sales experience within the industrial sector. This position offers the chance to promote regional customer proximity within an international high-tech company.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Sales experience dealing with industrial customers
  • Professional experience in maintaining and expanding relationships with decision-makers at major existing clients and business partners
  • Experience in the holistic sale of automation product spectrums (Industrial PCs, Fieldbus, PLC/NC software, drive technology)
  • Professional experience in technical support for the development and implementation of customized customer projects
