Job Summary
This Scientist role focuses on Assay Technology, specifically utilizing complex cell culture models to accelerate research programs for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The core responsibilities involve setting up, optimizing, and executing predictive, scalable cell-based and biochemical assays suitable for high-throughput screening (HTS) and automated biology applications. The successful candidate will lead project planning, manage client-funded research projects end-to-end—including experimental execution, technical documentation, and reporting—and maintain independent communication with clients and scientific partners. Key qualifications include a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree with over three years of relevant experience, hands-on expertise with complex cell culture models (e.g., iPSCs, 3D models), and mastery of advanced technologies such as high-content microscopy or flow cytometry. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a modern laboratory setting in Regensburg, Bavaria.

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related Life Science discipline.
Experience
- Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related Life Science discipline
- Master’s degree with > 3 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences
- Hands-on experience with complex cell culture models (e.g., primary cells, iPSCs, 3D/co-culture models)
- Professional experience developing, optimizing, and executing screening assays
- Experience managing client-funded research projects
- Experience with biochemical assays and quantitative data analysis
