Job Summary
This role is critical for ensuring reliable power and gas supply across the region. The professional will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on medium and low-voltage electrical grids, street lighting, and gas networks. Key daily tasks include switching operations in the medium and low-voltage sectors, regulating the gas network, and informing customers about planned measures, disruptions, or supply interruptions. A core part of the job involves supervising and managing external service providers supporting network operations. Candidates must have completed vocational training as an Electrician for industrial technology, energy and building technology, or as a Plant Mechanic, with a strong interest in the second sector (power or gas). The position requires hands-on skill, precision, a valid driver's license, and willingness to participate in on-call duty, ensuring stable and secure supply during both daily operations and network disturbances.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician for Industrial Technology, Energy and Building Technology, or as a Plant Mechanic, Central Heating and Ventilation Installer, or Gas and Water Installer.
Experience
- Initial professional experience at an energy service company
- Professional experience in either the power or gas sector
- Willingness to complete further training in power and gas sectors
Languages
Additional
- Valid driver's license required; Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
