Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking overall strategic and operational responsibility for the IT and Organization department within the Verbund Katholischer Kliniken Düsseldorf (VKKD), a large Catholic hospital network. The Head of IT will define and implement a forward-looking IT strategy, manage central IT projects, and ensure the seamless operation and continuous optimization of all technical infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, and telecommunications, often in collaboration with FACT IT GmbH. A critical focus of the role is guaranteeing the highest standards of IT and cybersecurity, including conducting risk analyses, implementing protective measures, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements to safeguard sensitive patient data. Success requires a blend of strategic thinking, robust leadership skills to guide teams, and strong coordination abilities to manage interfaces with executive management, medical technology, and various administrative and medical departments.
